While the charm of the medieval town is undeniable, navigating the narrow cobbled streets can be a challenge, especially as cars use both ways. The carpark is situated at the bottom of the hill, requiring a climb up several steps, which could be tough for those with mobility issues. Despite the preparation of the staff to assist with luggage, the trek to the hotel was still quite strenuous for some travelers.

The location is very nice, right in the heart of a picturesque village. I experienced an early check-in, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my requests. The continental breakfast was good, featuring everything from freshly made toast to delicious coffee.

The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old town, allowing for easy access to all the charming sites. My room in the Casa del Organista came with a lovely balcony that offered stunning views of the picturesque streets below. The historical charm of the building stood out, with its large entry door and beautiful wooden beams. I especially appreciated the unique character of my room. it was spacious and clean, making it a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. However, the climb from the parking area to the inn was quite steep, which can be tough, particularly after a full day of walking. The absence of air conditioning might also be a concern during the hotter months. Despite these minor inconveniences, the service at the hotel was exceptional. The staff went out of their way to assist, providing local insights and even helping with my luggage. Breakfast included delightful local choices that started my mornings on a high note. Overall, a lovely place with a few areas to improve for better accessibility.

My stay in the Double or Twin Room was great! The room was well-furnished, super comfy beds, and had a lovely view of the historical village. I enjoyed the spacious layout, complete with a desk and closet. The bathroom was modern and clean, although I had a little trouble with the shower temperature. The historical charm of the inn really stood out, especially the large entry door and beautiful wooden beams.

Loved hanging out in the cozy lounge with a drink after a long day exploring beautiful Santillana. Just be ready for the steep walk back from parking – it can get a bit tiring after all that sightseeing.

my stay at la casa del organista was simply amazing! my previous visit to santillana del mar didn’t prepare me for just how welcoming this place would be. enjoying breakfast on the terrace with stunning views was a highlight, and rafal's helpful tips made exploring the area a breeze.
